As had been mentioned before, all possible typing errors in callsigns in the log will be corrected after the DXpedition. All notices about miscopied callsigns are recorded and they will be reviewed right after the DXpedition. We are sorry but there is no way to make corrections during the operation. So if you are afraid about your QSO and you can’t find your call in the log, call 5T0SP again. And again: 30 meters QSOs are very often logged on paper. They are little by little typed in into the electronic log and then uploaded to ClubLog.
The Team received some comments and suggestions about possible propagation windows to the regions where Mauretania is very much needed and also comments about band-plan limitations in some countries. Team members try to do their best to work everyone, everywhere.
You should observe better signal especially in Japan on 40 meters. Two days ago a stacked 2 element vertical started to work so we can switch directions and from our perspective it seems to work perfectly.
On the top band we have K9AY and beverage for receiving but in our local conditions much we have much better effects when listening on the TX vertical antenna.
On Saturday (2012-12-01) we had over 40k of QSOs in the log and we have over a week of operation aead so we expect to log much more QSOs.
Thanks for all nice comments and also great thanks to new sposnsors who decided to donate the DXpedition (see the list of sponsors).
